About us
My background is in graphic design with 20 years experience in industry. Textiles has always been a hobby and interest which has slowly turned into a small business.
The ranges of very graphic and wonderfully designed fabrics that are now available are truly inspirational and turn a project from something ordinary into something really special. I love to make clothes for my daughter Molly and bags for myself, I’ve been designing patterns which will work with the fabrics sold on this site. These will come onto the site as I get them produced.
All the patterns are for utility items which will be really useful but look beautiful. The ready made items will be bespoke so just a few of each will be made, keep looking to see what’s new. I hope you enjoy these fabrics as much as I do, it’s a passion and I guess if you are reading this you have the bug too!
I am based in the beautiful town of Ilkley in West Yorkshire. The textile industry was key here in the 19th century, in fact the house I live in was built for a textile designer in 1880. With this in mind I hope to source more things locally & link in & support other small makers & businesses (see links in WE LOVE section).
